Rashmee Pal Chouteau
Rashmee Pal Chouteau graduated from Kala Bhavan, Shantiniketan in 1997 and then moved to France where continues her art practice through illustrations, painting, installations along with teaching various age groups in different structures, having previously also worked in restoration of historical monuments. She has exhibited in France and Belgium including the Centre international d’études en littérature de jeunesse ,Charleville-Mézières, France;Le Museum ‘Het Stadmus’ Hasselt, Belgium and a Solo show in Gallerie Plein Soleil. Her works are in public and private collections in Australia, United States, United Kingdom, France and India. She conducts workshops regularly in schools and socio-cultural spaces to explore different mediums and create art awareness; exploring folk art forms, teaching Indian Art, creating public installations, book art projects, and also in fighting racism and promoting tolerance through art. She has taught in the Ecole Superieur de Beaux Arts du Mans.
